Privacy Policy

1. No accounts, minimal data

Meetverso has no sign-up. We store an anonymous session identifier in a cookie so the game can match you, keep your rating, and enforce blocks and restrictions. It is not linked to your name, email, or any real identity.

2. What we process

• Anonymous session: a random ID, your chosen display nickname, your aura rating, and win/loss counts.
• Camera video: streamed directly to your opponent (peer-to-peer where possible) so you can play. We never record or store the video stream.
• Battle snapshots: during an AI-judged battle, a handful of low-resolution snapshots from your camera are sent to the AI judge for scoring and deleted immediately after the verdict. They are never used for anything else — no facial recognition, no profiling, no training.
• Language: your browser language (or the language you pick) is used only so the AI writes its verdict in your language.
• Chat messages: sent between the two participants in real time; we do not store chat history.
• Reports: if you report someone, we keep the report (battle reference and reason) to moderate the service.
• Usage events: anonymous gameplay events (e.g. battle started, battle completed) to understand and improve the game.

3. What we never do

• We never sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
• We never record, store, or redistribute your video.
• We never use snapshots for facial recognition or model training.
• We never ask for your name, email, phone, or payment details.

4. Processors

The game runs on hosting and database infrastructure providers, and battle snapshots are scored by an AI provider acting as a processor under their API terms, which prohibit using the data to train models. Video calls connect peer-to-peer where possible; when a relay is needed, it only forwards encrypted traffic.

5. Retention

Snapshots are deleted right after judging. Matchmaking queue entries expire when a search ends. Session, rating, and report data are kept while the service operates and are periodically pruned for inactive sessions. Clearing your browser cookies removes the link between you and your session.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR in the EU), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data. Because sessions are anonymous, the practical way to exercise deletion is clearing your cookies, which orphans the session data pending pruning.
